Putin orders Treasury to organize anti-corruption forum

MOSCOW, Aug 17 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Federal Treasury to organize a Russian Anti-Corruption Forum, according to a document under the 2021–2024 anti-corruption plan seen by PRIME late on Monday.

"The Federal Treasury shall organize a Russian Anti-Corruption Forum of Financial and Economic Agencies," the statement read.

A report on fulfillment was scheduled until August 15, 2023.

Putin also ordered the government to suggest improvements to the mechanism of reporting the sources of income for the people deputizing state officials until October 15. He ordered to prepare amendments to the bill on investigation of the tsources of income of the financial ombudsman nominees until November 20.

The Prosecutor General Office was ordered to prepare proposals to improve legislation so that the prosecutors to get access to the information subject to bank secrecy in the framework of corruption cases until November 1.
